1. Application Form;

2. Valid Travel Document (Passport) issued within the past 10 years, valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended date of leaving the territory of the Republic of Moldova (in the case of minors – additionally the birth certificate and the passport of the legal representative);

3. Recent Passport-Sized Color Photo (35mm x 45mm);

4. Invitation Letter issued by the General Inspectorate for Migration, if required, or a residence permit or valid visa (except a transit visa) issued by a member state of the European Union or by a state part to the Schengen Agreement, by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, by the United States of America or by Canada;

5. Confirmation of Acceptance to Studies from the educational institution;

6. Proof of Sufficient Financial Means to cover study and living expenses (in the amount established), except for foreign scholars of the Republic of Moldova (in the latter case, proof of holding a scholarship in Moldova) or part of student exchange programs;

7. Consent of Parents or Guardian for minors studying in Moldova;

8. Criminal Record from the country of origin, translated into Romanian or English and legalized or apostilled, except minors under 16 years, if applicable;

9. Travel Medical Insurance valid throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova, which fully covers the expected period of stay and all expenses that repatriation for medical reasons, emergency medical treatments and/or emergency hospitalization or death may require, with minimum coverage of 30,000 EUR;

10. Consular Fee of 40 EUR (plus any additional fees, if applicable);  

11. Additional Documents may be required for participation in a student exchange program, such as a copy of the agreement between educational institutions that organize the program, the proof of financial means to cover living expenses and accommodation commitment.
